Jason believes every worker deserves respect, dignity, and fair representation. That's the fire that drives him as President of Local 18007. For over 15 years, he's been fighting for the rights of his fellow union members, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met.

Chicago is in his blood. Raised on the West Side, in the heart of the Austin neighborhood, he learned the value of community and giving back. His passion for human rights stems from these roots, knowing that workers' rights are fundamental to a just and equitable society.

Treating people right is more than just a motto, it is his guiding principle. Whether it's advocating for fair wages and safe working conditions for his union brothers and sisters, or simply lending a helping hand to a neighbor in need, he strives to make a positive impact wherever he go.

His journey as a Utility Worker reflects this commitment. Starting as a meter reader in 1991, he climbed the ranks through sheer dedication and a deep understanding of the industry. Now, as a Senior Service Specialist #1, he brings his experience and empathy to every customer interaction, ensuring their needs are addressed with care and efficiency.  He's seen firsthand the challenges workers face and understand the importance of a strong voice standing up for their rights.

But life isn't all work and no play. His passion extends beyond work. He is a true Chicagoan at heart, a die-hard Cubs fan, and an avid supporter of all things Chicago. In his  free time, he enjoys exploring the world through travel, bike riding, immersing himself in the power of music, and finding inspiration in reading. He strives to maintain a calm and easygoing nature, even amidst life's challenges, always believing in finding humor and joy in every moment. He believes in finding joy in the simple things and keeping a smile on his face, because laughter truly is the best medicine.

"Let's build a brighter future, together."
