Jason has been with Peoples Gas since 1991. He started as a meter reader (at the old Irving Park store) where he worked for 7 years before moving into special projects at Division St. In 2002 he transferred to Central Shop and worked as a operations apprentice before becoming a Service Specialist in 2008. He has served as the Sergeant at Arms before being elected to trustee.

So why did you want to become an officer on the Union Board?

I was sitting in my truck one day and I knew that this is where I was supposed to be. I felt that I could make a difference and I wanted to remove the barriers I saw between management and union employees as well as improve on the involvement of others in the local.
