COVID-19 UPDATE FOR LOCAL 18007 MEMBERS

Brothers and Sisters,

The flu season is upon us- with that on top of Covid-19 we have decided to suspend the rest of the 2020 Membership meetings, we do not want to put anyone at additional risk to contract and spread the virus. We think it is in the best interest of everyone, especially with the holiday season coming up! We want our members to stay as safe as possible and to avoid anything they can to contain the spread of the virus. If circumstances change we will reevaluate the meetings but as it stands now they are suspended thru 2020. We have done an excellent job controlling the spread within our membership and we are grateful to our members for taking all possible precautions to make this happen and realizing that this is serious and this virus is not going away any time soon with the winter months right around the corner. We will continue to make sure each and every one of you are as safe as possible- we have been working on that daily since the pandemic started and we aren’t stopping now! We want everyone to be able to enjoy the holidays with their loved ones. We will continue to update you every step of the way on any and all matters that come up and make sure our membership is fully informed of everything going on. Stay safe and continue to do what you are doing because everyone is doing a great job! If there are any issues at all please refer them to your union steward so they can be addressed.
