STRENGTH THROUGH UNITY

Brothers and Sisters,

As many of you know, today May 1st, is raise day for all union members in Local 18007. This is the start of the 3rd year of our 5-year contract, which guarantees these raises and all our negotiated benefits.

We all have a lot to be grateful for, especially now during this pandemic. Many working families across the country are being heavily affected by this virus. We all our guaranteed 40-hour work week, benefits, wages and our collective bargaining agreement.

Nothing is stronger and more powerful than when all our Members stand together. During this pandemic across the whole city, our Membership has taken tremendous pride and have come together united to protect the safety of our home and city we all love.

On behalf of Local 18007 Executive Board we would like to thank all our Stewards on the shop floors for their tireless dedication to all our Members and from the Board and Stewards we want to thank all our Members for being out on the front lines providing a skilled union service for all Chicago residents.

We are all in this together and will get through it together.
