MSMA is looking for volunteers to help create a memorable welcome home experience as our veterans and Guardians return to Chicago. Your presence, enthusiasm, and support will help show our appreciation for their service and sacrifice
Meet-up Time: Approximately 5:00 p.m.
Meet-up Location: Zoe’s Patio, 5518 S Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638
We’ll gather beforehand to enjoy food and beverages, connect with colleagues, and prepare for the welcome home celebration before heading to Midway Airport.
Return Flight Location: Midway International Airport – Baggage Claim (Lowel Level), South End
Welcome Home Celebration: Gather along the arrival route to cheer on and welcome home the veterans and Guardians. We will meet around 7:30 PM at the Baggage Claim (Lowel Level), South End
Please Note: Volunteering for the Welcome Home Celebration is on your own time. If participating during work hours, supervisor approval is required.

- Bring banners, posters, flags, and signs to help create a memorable reception.
- Can’t attend? We need letters to the veterans thanking them for their service!
Let’s come together as one team to honor these veterans, celebrate our employee veteran Guardians, and demonstrate our gratitude and respect they have earned through their service to our country.
